The objectives of this organization are but not limited to:
The Youth- Offer college prep, post-school support, resume and cover letter help, mental and physical health aid, leadership training, and financial education.
The Seniors-Offer wellness checks and planned activities for senior engagement.
The Community- Bethesda Community Development Center Inc. helps with finances, community engagement, education, immigration, counseling, and job-readiness.
Lack of community-focused services threatens every part of our community. It’s a problem that requires everyone’s cooperation.

BCDCI COMMUNITY PROJECTS
SOUP KITCHEN A weekly Soup Kitchen is operation every Saturday at 167 East 98th Street, Brooklyn, New York, 11212. This initiative makes a hot meal available between the hours of 10 am - 2pm to all in need. Biweekly, Our neighbors are also given the opportunity to sit and enjoy their meal while they listen to inspirational speeches and music. We also distribute dry goods donated by our food insecurities partners such as Campaign for Hunger and Feed New York.
CLOTHING BOUTIQUE
Our Clothing Boutique is open every Saturday at 167 East 98th Street, Brooklyn, New York, 11212. This initiative makes gently used clothing; coats, shoes, bags included, available to our patrons between the hours of 10 am - 2pm. We have often provided professional wear for those going on interviews. Our men are known to go into their closet and give their best to those in need so that can present themselves in the best way possible for a chance at employment.
BROWNSVILLE COMMUNITY DAY
Annually we hold a community day in Brownsville where the aim is to provide food, fun and resources to our community. Being holistic in our approach the following information and resources are provided. Financial, housing, academic and hygienic information is provided with representatives from reputable agencies being present to assist with any queries. Self-care information is also made available with a list of licensed counselors in our effort to promote self-care and mental health.
BACK TO SCHOOL COMMUNITY EVENTS
A day of food, fun and school giveaways such as bookbags, books, pencils, pencils are made available to the Brownsville community. These elements are made available by local donors of the community including individual and store donations. Our aim is to supply every child in Brownsville with the basic tools they need to be properly prepared to learn in the classroom.
